Derek was a co-worker of Rose Tyler at Henrik's. When shop window dummies suddenly came to life and began to attack Rose, she assumed that it was a prank set up by Derek. (TV: Rose)
Behind the scenes
- Derek is never identified for certain as a co-worker, but he is assumed to be as it's unlikely that a non-employee of Henrik's would have access to the service basement.
