Instructions for {{Mop}}

{{mop}}, short for "mobile only picture", is a template which adds a full-sized image which will only display in article previews, and on mobile. Essentially, it's a combination of {{mo}} and {{first pic}}.

This is important for including a graphic on pages which might turn up in "trending pages", but where traditional file usage would mess with desktop user experience. For example, Thirteenth Doctor/Appearances has a table which would be aversely affected by a {{first pic}} in the limited space available above. In this example, it will still be illustrated where it really counts.

Usage goes as follows:

{{mop|TwelveLooksAtMissy2.jpg|Description (optional)}}

If the page you're using this template on is a subpage (such as /Appearances pages) and the base page doesn't use a tabbed gallery in the infobox, you can simply type

{{mop|d=Description (optional)}}

and the image used on the base page's infobox will be used automatically.

You can specify a page other than the base page to pull the image from as follows:

{{mop|p=Twelfth Doctor|d=Description (optional)}}
