In an account of the Last Great Time War in which the conflict was ended by the Eighth Doctor, concentric rings of Dalek warships surrounded the planet Gallifrey before they and the planet were destroyed by the Moment. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Time War) These vessels were saucer-shaped. (TV: The Day of the Doctor, COMIC: Weapons of Past Destruction)
Also known as Dalek war saucers, these ships were capable of time travel using the Time Vortex. One war saucer, which had been travelling backwards in time, was destroyed in the Vortex, crashing on St Luke's University, 1997, creating an alternate timeline. (AUDIO: Emancipation of the Daleks)
