I just rewatched the scene in question; He's saying that their after the [[Promised Land]] like the Half-Faced Man, the sophisticated remark is just him comparing how their approach their search (the Knights built a castle and integrated themselves into the local culture, plus he thinks they built [[Robin Hood]]). Okay. Big one. Should Robot of Sherwood be included here? The Twelfth Doctor recognises its robots as "like the Half-Faced Man, but more sophisticated", so as a viewer I always took it as read that they were a more evolved version of the sape (non-)species, but our coverage so far doesn't seem to reflect this, I am now realising.
