Tish Madoc was a novelist who was Fenella Wibbsey's neighbour at Nest Cottage. Mrs Wibbsey thought she was evil. She was Deirdre's cousin. She wrote books as well. She thought that Mike Yates was attractive. (AUDIO: The Hexford Invasion)

During her time in Hexford when it was in space, she suggested writing the village panto. (AUDIO: Survivors in Space)

A year or so afterwards, Tish wrote the novel Romance in the Milky Way, causing a rift to form between herself and Mike, as it revealed classified information about Mike.

Just over two years after the village's transportation to space, Deirdre invited Fenella to join herself and Tish for some festive eggnog, but Fenella declined due to also being less than happy with Tish's "silly" novel. Two days later, Fenella visited them and the many other residents of Baker's End in the Hollyhocks. Tish tried to probe Fenella for more stories about her travels with the Master of Baker's End, but Fenella remained silent. (PROSE: Mrs Frimbly's Festive Diary)
