Tiberius Gluck was a resident of Trenzalore roughly 300 years into the Eleventh Doctor's stay on the planet. He moved to the Outland and lived there for forty years, primarily in the hope of making himself rich by finding precious metals, but also because he feared for the safety of his eight-year-old daughter, Yalala Gluck. He disliked that the town of Christmas was so dangerous due to the Doctor's presence and the Siege of Trenzalore.
During an outing across the frozen plains with his daughter and two sled dogs, Howzi and Mowki, Tiberius came across flaps of silk hanging in the boughs of the trees. Excited, he told his daughter to stay with the dogs and went to see if he could find more of the cloth and sell or trade it as a rare commodity in town. Instead, he was discovered by Autons who had parachuted onto the planet who then strangled Tiberius to death. (PROSE: Strangers in the Outland)
