Pralix was the grandson of Balaton and the brother of Mula.

Pralix gained psychic powers following the destruction of Calufrax by Zanak, and joined the Mentiads.

Together, he and his new comrades helped the Fourth Doctor and Romana defeat the Captain. (TV: The Pirate Planet)
