This week, some needed Darwin maintenance will be undertaken. It will temporarily leave some pages quite oddly formatted. You will need to clear your cache with great frequency over this first full week of 2014.
The goals of this maintenance round are:
- to finally resolve the position of tags like {{wikipediainfo}}
- to make images, infoboxes, and tables of content take up the same relative space no matter the browser width.
- to reduce the footprint of tophats so that pages render better in MyWikia and WikiaMobile.
This maintenance has been a long time coming, but was put off for a few weeks so that major upheavals didn't take place during the very busy time of 4Q 2013.
