I think Scrooge's arguments are perfectly fine, and I think the recent discussion at Thread:212365 shows that Harness has a very broad view of "canon" and enjoys messing with viewers.
The story clearly passes rules 1, 2, and 3, and I think given Harness's temperament it passes 4.
