User:SOTO/Forum Archive/The Panopticon/@comment-4028641-20151011004220/@comment-81.135.63.183-20151205011231 Companions are the Doctor's closest friends, not just people who've been in the TARDIS. & if we included everyone who filled the 'companion role' in a story there would be hundreds one time characters that the Doctor, and the audience, has probably forgotten about. Bennett & o'Donnell aren't companions.
