Do I wish that I, as the main keeper of the category tree, had organised things differently to start with? Yes. Can the anal retentive side of me let it go? Also yes. Earth mammals won't always be in the GOR. And at that point we can restructure things. I think that Category:Earth mammals is currently engaged in the Game of Rassilon, and has worked to positively explode interest in those pages. That it's not quite the right category really doesn't matter to me at all. My overriding administrative need is to encourage the growth and scholarship of pages.
Do I wish that I, as the main keeper of the category tree, had organised things differently to start with? Yes. Can the anal retentive side of me let it go? Also yes.
