On Inferno Earth, Edward Travers was killed during an avalanche in Tibet in 1935.

In 1959, a Travers from another timeline's 1945 was sent to the Inferno Earth along with Alastair Lethbridge-Stewart but arrived earlier, and his seemingly dead body was later examined by the time-hopping Colonel Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart.
