In 1959, a Travers from another timeline's 1945 was sent to the Inferno Earth along with Alastair Lethbridge-Stewart but arrived earlier, and his seemingly dead body was later examined by the time-hopping Colonel Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart. (PROSE: The Schizoid Earth) Travers recovered from his injuries and took the place of his deceased counterpart. (PROSE: I, Alastair)
