The Doctor teamed up with Ace, Romana, Tegan and K9 to beat three parallel parties intent on taking control of the universe. One was led by the Master, another by Davros and a third by a Cyber-Controller. In the course of this adventure, the Doctor wielded a Sonic Gun and had to make use of the Key to Time.
