He discovered Tutankhamun's tomb in 1923, (PROSE: The King of Golden Death) aided by the Doctor and his Gladstone bag, as later recalled by the Fourth Doctor. (AUDIO: The Movellan Grave)

The Eleventh Doctor named him as a great archaeologist. (PROSE: The Glamour Chase)

A class 2 exploration cruiser was named after Carter. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)

When in Qin Shi Huang's tomb, Barbara Wright thought of herself as a female Howard Carter. (PROSE: The Eleventh Tiger)
