Cargo ship C982 was a cargo spaceship. Its crew were Stewart and Hardy and the cargo was flour.
The Third Doctor and Jo Grant arrived on it in 2540 when it was attacked by Ogrons, who were using a fear device to make themselves appear as Draconians. Stewart and Hardy was stunned in the attack, but the Doctor and Jo managed to revive them.
