Blowtorch

A blowtorch was a plumber's tool. It was also used to melt the brown sugar on the top of a Crème Brulée. (PROSE: Earth)

Assault Daleks had a claw and blowtorch combination. These were used for cutting through strong metals such as Hydra Combination and for picking up objects normal Daleks couldn't. (TV: The Parting of the Ways, PROSE: Prisoner of the Daleks) The Daleks called them cutting flames. (AUDIO: Daughter of the Gods)
