Merlin the Wise, who first appeared in Doctor Who Magazine's The Neutron Knights, was mentioned through dialogue, largely referencing Captain Britain's resurrection in The Guns of Avalon, although also alluding to the prior resurrection in A Rag, a Bone, a Hank of Hair....
