A watchman at the British Museum refused to allow people to take refuge from the mushroom creatures.
Norton Folgate convinced him to let him in to access Torchwood technology inside a room hidden behind the Elgin Marbles whilst the watchman stood outside.
The creatures managed to get into the building and killed the watchman, whose house Norton later chose to move into. (AUDIO: Parasite)
