Dermot O'Leary (in-universe)

Dermot O'Leary was a presenter for the NTAs and Red Nose Day 2013.

O'Leary overslept on the day he was due to host the National Television Awards 2011, but the Eleventh Doctor picked him up and got him to the show on time, winding up in different times and places and meeting many famous faces along the way. (TV: Dermot and the Doctor)

He later met the Eleventh Doctor again when he made a surprise appearance on stage. (TV: The Doctor Appears)

Behind the scenes

Information from invalid sources

According to the Eleventh Doctor, a meteor in the exact shape of O'Leary's face was set to come "dangerously close" to Earth in March 2012. (PROSE: The Doctor's Guide to 2012)

O'Leary was present at the auditions for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. He watched the auditions from backstage and comforted those who were rejected. (TV: 2023: The Eurovision Audition Tapes)
