Brox was a space traveller who spent a hundred years in a spaceship seeking out new alien life. Unfortunately he was travelling around the least popular area, the outer-rim of the universe. When after all the time travelling the engines on his spaceshift began to wear out they left behind a number of mini-wormholes that stretched across to the other side of the galaxy. Travelling through a wormhole to the source the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond (Brox’s first alien encounter) used Brox’s spaceship ('the Warm Welcome') to create a big enough wormhole to take him across to the other side of the universe where his adventure could really begin.
