Anni Glassfeather was a witch on the planet Avalon, where she was able to manipulate the nanobot system on the planet to commit magical acts. She was in an enchanted sleep caused by a poisoned apple slice when Barbara Wright found her. Barbara removed the slice, and Anni went into a normal sleep. Later, she rescued Barbara from a vampiric fairy ring. They then rescued Susan Foreman and Mellisa from a pursuing Marton Dhal. She joined with the First Doctor and Kildenny Odoyle to stop Gramling from using Merlin's Helm. (PROSE: The Sorcerer's Apprentice)
