Hans Zimmer (born 12 September 1957[1]) is a German-born film composer. Zimmer's only connection to Doctor Who was having been trained under The Reign of Terror's composer, Stanley Myers as well as his involvement in the Charity music production Doctor in Distress in 1985.[2]
