Emil Hartung (1898-1941) was a scientist. The Seventh Doctor and Melanie Bush met him when they visited Cairo in 1936. A conversation with the Doctor about the hunting habits of bats and owls inspired Hartung to develop stealth technology decades early. He created two prototype stealth planes for the Nazis, Hugin and Munin. Hartung was test piloting Hugin in Guernsey when a design flaw caused it to explode, killing him. (PROSE: Just War)
