Dennis Bridger was a professional and famous medium from Manchester.

He spent years playing to half-empty theatres before rising to fame, eventually performing his act on Scared Stiff for over five years. In 2009 he was travelling the UK recording episodes of the show, in which he would become “possessed” by local ghosts. In one episode, he was taken over by a “limping Victorian child”, a "fire-and-brimstone Puritan”, and a “strange old man with a tam o’shanter”. Over time, Dennis gradually began to believe he had psychic powers, something which led him to willingly become a medium for the Gelth when they tried to cross the rift into Cheltenham.

Dennis smoked Benson and Hedges, and according to Corynne he had “wandering hands”. (PROSE: Scared Stiff)
