This kind of goes with what's above. In Destiny of the Daleks, the Doctor refers to Genesis of the Daleks: "This is where the Daleks were created thousands of years ago." So is it possible to have timeline 1 take place between Genesis and Destiny, the Emperor rose in Davros's place and died in The Evil of the Daleks, replaced by a Supreme Dalek somewhere. Also remember in Alien Bodies there are Daleks on the edges of the galaxy while another group is still on Skaro, which the Eighth Doctor calls "the static electricity phase." Resurrection of the Daleks takes place 90 years after Destiny where different groups of Daleks have spread out to different corners of the universe to prevent the spread of the Movellan virus. Then Revelation of the Daleks takes place, followed by Remembrance of the Daleks, and if we interpret the Doctor's mocking of the Surpreme Dalek with "[you're] a thousand years from [home]", then the home time of the Daleks, the time when Skaro is destroyed by the Hand of Omega, is 2963. But as there are different groups of Daleks around the universe, this in itself could account for the different timelines. I'm not sure the placement of Day of the Daleks after Frontier in Space/Planet of the Daleks is supportable, despite the assertion by Dalek: The Astounding[...]. As this page itself notes, in Day of the Daleks the Daleks do not recognize the Third Doctor. This is hard to reconcile with their familiarity with him in Planet of the Daleks. Why does there have to be two time lines

Why can't davros get put into stasis in genesis without him the daleks go back to electric floor boards the events of the daleks happen the invasion of the daleks in wich we learn from war of the daleks they find out about davros destroying skaro so they move him to the decoy planet and then this leads to destiny of the daleks and boom were back to one united timeline --121.217.158.30talk to me 01:31, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

Steed 21:11, January 26, 2014 (UTC)

The destruction of Skaro could also, by that comment, be in 963, no? "A thousand years" could go in either direction. --Scrooge MacDuck 10:57, June 25, 2019 (UTC)

Why has everything related to Remembrance been put after The Witch's Familiar? It makes more sense to put it after Revelation, as the end of the Dalek civil war arc, with the Daleks rebuilding into the 'Dalek Empire' Variation seen in Big Finish. The Magician's Apprentice even supports it by having Remembrance shown as a former battle between the Doctor and Davros.223p 10:44, September 11, 2018 (UTC)223p

Day of the Daleks placementedit source

I'm not sure the placement of Day of the Daleks after Frontier in Space/Planet of the Daleks is supportable, despite the assertion by Dalek: The Astounding[...]. As this page itself notes, in Day of the Daleks the Daleks do not recognize the Third Doctor. This is hard to reconcile with their familiarity with him in Planet of the Daleks.
