During riots in Calcutta in 1947, Ranjit saw Darac-Poul-Caparrel-Jal-7's spacecraft land near a temple. He thought it was the god Shiva. Later, Ranjit found and returned the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver after it had been lost. (PROSE: Ghosts of India)
