Case File Nine, subtitled Creatures of the Antizone or The Antizone, was released online in 2018, alongside It Takes You Away.
Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]
Yaz gives a detailed report on the anti-zone she encountered and the creatures inhabiting it, specifically Ribbons and the flesh moths.
Cast[[edit] | [edit source]]
Crew[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Team TARDIS entered the Antizone through a mirror, which Yaz notes sounds like a fairy tale, but not the kind with princesses rather, "the scary sort with red hot shoes and people's eyes being pecked out."
- The Antizone's purpose is to protect the structure of space-time, though the creatures there were no guardians.
- Ribbons wore rocks and bone as jewellery and carried a hidden second knife.
- Yaz recalls that Ribbons was really rude to Graham O'Brien.
- Flesh moths are "mega carnivorous" and attracted to light.
- Flesh moths can strip flesh in seconds, leaving just bones and tattered clothing.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Case File Nine uses imagery from the television story It Takes You Away.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Yaz recaps Team TARDIS' encounters in the Anti-zone. (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth)
