How to be a Time Lord was the first book in the Official Guides series, published on 2 December 2014[source needed] by BBC Children's Books, written by Craig Donaghy, and illustrated by Dan Green and Folko Streese. The book was stylised as an in-universe guide on how to be a Time Lord, "improved" by the Eleventh Doctor with his own notes and illustrations.
