The Dalek Task Force was one of the features original to The Dalek World, a Dalek annual of 1965, which were not so much a story as an informative feature on Dalek society. It featured a wealth of information about the Dalek spacecrafts forming the titular Dalek Task Force, expanding the catalogue of Dalek ships far beyond the familiar Dalek flying saucer.

The illustration bears the signature Jennings in the bottom-left corner.
