Otto Gunsche was a member of Adolf Hitler's inner circle. He acted as Hitler's adjutant, and guarded the door to his room as Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide. He was unable to keep Magda Goebbels away, who forced herself past to speak some final words to Hitler, hoping to persuade him to flee. Arthur Axmann also attempted to speak to Hitler, however, Gunsche turned him away. After hearing a gunshot, Gunsche and Heinz Linge entered the room and found the bodies of Hitler and Eva on the sofa. (PROSE: The Shadow in the Glass)
