Tweed

Tweed was a form of fashion invented in Europe during the Victorian era.[source needed]

The Doctor wore tweed jackets during their sixth, (AUDIO: Criss-Cross) seventh (TV: Doctor Who) and eleventh incarnations. (TV: The Eleventh Hour) He also wore tweed trousers during his fourth (TV: Robot) and seventh incarnations; (TV: Time and the Rani) and also a double-breasted overcoat of navy blue tweed in his fourteenth incarnation. (TV: The Power of the Doctor) When posing as John Smith, his tenth incarnation wore a suit of charcoal tweed.
