There is one small issue though, which is that the fiction sections are divided up into ''scenes'', which covers the vast majority of fiction-based videos on the website, including minisodes (as those are frequently also called scenes by the BBC and co.), but there is at least on instance of a full episode being uploaded onto YouTube and embedded on the website: the first full episode of ''[[K9 (TV series)|K9]]'' — {{cs|Regeneration (TV story)}}. The question is: do we look for another name to replace "scenes", or not stress it and continue to use that terminology, as, at the end of the day, this video is (to the extent of my knowledge) the ''only'' full episode released on YouTube.

If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

Opening post

Not a long opening post this, but I want to suggest a new subpage type: video subpages.

Currently, there are lots of videos embedded on this website, but with little way to display them; you can find them in infoboxes, but they're usually capped out at three trailers, three clips, three behind the scenes videos, etc, and in the bodies of articles, but these are few and far between.

A subpage exclusively for videos would mirror /Gallery subpages, allowing us to collect videos on a single page, grouped by subject; so far, I can see video subpages working for characters/concepts, and sources. See User:Epsilon the Eternal/The Star Beast (TV story)/Videos and User:Epsilon the Eternal/Fourteenth Doctor/Videos for proof of concepts.

These proposed pages are similar to the format of gallery subpages, where they have sections for scenes from episodes, then sections for promotional videos, and then sections for behind the scenes videos. These are divided up by source on the Fourteenth Doctor's subpage draft, while the videos for The Star Beast [+]Loading...["The Star Beast (TV story)"] are primarily about that episode.

File:K-9 Season 1 Episode 1 - Regeneration (Full Episode) I do not feel like these would overlap with /Gallery subpages, as they serve different purposes and separating videos from images; and, unlike images, we don't categorise videos by source and link to said category with a template such as {{ImageLink}} on the top of relevant pages, so finding videos for a certain subject is difficult. There is an argument to be made that videos could be placed on /Promotion subpages for sources, but those are not only few and far between due to the involved nature of writing such a page, adding videos there would clog the page and they would be less intuitive to find as the Wiki would inconsistently use "/Video" subpages.

There is one small issue though, which is that the fiction sections are divided up into scenes, which covers the vast majority of fiction-based videos on the website, including minisodes (as those are frequently also called scenes by the BBC and co.), but there is at least on instance of a full episode being uploaded onto YouTube and embedded on the website: the first full episode of K9Regeneration [+]Loading...["Regeneration (TV story)"]. The question is: do we look for another name to replace "scenes", or not stress it and continue to use that terminology, as, at the end of the day, this video is (to the extent of my knowledge) the only full episode released on YouTube.

And, to accommodate these subpages, we should create categories to house them: so, to mirror Category:Character galleries and Category:Source galleries and so on, we should introduce Category:Character video libraries and Category:Source video libraries or similar. Someone else probably has a better idea for the category names, but you get my drift.
