Captain Archibald McClellan, also known as Archie, was in the Scots Guard. He told Audacity Montague about the significance of the cannon shot, as it helped navigators out at sea in the fog. Charlotte Pollard and Audacity to a party hosted to Donald Shaw to help in their investigations.^{[statement unclear]} They went to one of Shaw's power stations and wondered how he generated the power with no supply lines. Inside the power station he couldn't find a boiler to create a steam engine. He used the superstition of iron and fire to try as a way to stop Shaw and went to realign the cannon to shoot towards Shaw's power station. Charley kissed him before leaving.
