Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

The entry in Have You Seen This Man? was submitted to the "Who is Doctor Who?" website by Doctor Who fan Josiah Rowe. Rowe's grandfather, also named Josiah Rowe, was in fact a pilot in World War I, and wrote letters to his family describing his training in Foggia, Italy. However, his encounter with the Ninth Doctor and the theft of a Spad XIII were entirely fictional.
