The '''Hesperus''' was a type of [[spaceship]] made by the [[Vinvocci]] race, a group of Humanoids with spiky green skin. It was a salvage vessel, chiefly used to trawl [[Asteroid belt|asteroid fields]] for junk. ([[DW]]: ''[[The End of Time (TV story)|The End of Time]]'')

Two hundred and seventy years after colonisation and arrival of the Mechonoids, several hundred [[Dalek]]s, [[Spider Dalek]]s and reprogrammed [[Movellan]]s arrived on Hesperus and fought the Mechanoids. ([[PROSE]]: ''[[War of the Daleks (novel)|War of the Daleks]]'')
The Hesperus was some two hundred to three hundred feet in length, and shaped like a sort of fish or bird-like creature, with the bridge in the head. It had a dorsal fin-like apparatus on top, which appeared to be used for stabilization when inside a [[planet]]'s atmosphere. It had two further fins on angles on it's underside. Hesperus was a human colony planet. It was one of many prepared by Mechonoids but subsequently forgotten, with humans never arriving.

Two hundred and seventy years after colonisation and arrival of the Mechonoids, several hundred Daleks, Spider Daleks and reprogrammed Movellans arrived on Hesperus and fought the Mechanoids. (PROSE: War of the Daleks)
