Joe Louis

Joe Louis, nicknamed the Brown Bomber, was an American boxer and the world heavyweight champion in 1938. That year, he was challenged by the German Max Schmeling and met in New York in a fight witnessed by Cody McBride, who recalled that within two minutes of the first round Schmeling was on the canvas and the Brown Bomber was champion of the world again.
