Somewhat related to the bit about the Cyber-Controllers, I'm wondering if there should be individual pages for the various Mondasian Cyber-Leaders and Cyber-Lieutenants. (i.e. Cyber-Leader (Earthshock), Cyber-Lieutenant (Earthshock) and so forth), leaving Cyber-Leader (Mondas) as a sort of page for the rank. May need to rewatch, but I gather David Banks and Mark Hardy's characters can't be the same convertee in every story they appear as Cybermen.

:Ooh, we may also need to check The ArcHive Tapes (audio story), which may or may not be the same as the History of the Cybermen CD. I can check the latter some time over the next few days, but I don't own the former to see whether it's the same content. —Josiah Rowe ☎ 04:35, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

:: If it was a segment from Cybermen, then I'd gather it counts as "work of non-fiction made-up history". But maybe that's just me. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:38, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

I mean, the sections in Cyber-Leader (Mondas)'s history come off as individuals' pages in of themselves. -- Tybort (talk page) 22:41, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

As I recall, Banks went to some lengths to connect the various Cyber-leaders he played in his book Doctor Who: Cybermen, but that's not a narrative source, and thus inadmissible for our purposes. However, some of the material from that was recycled as "The Origins of the Cybermen" in the Cybermen CD tin, and I don't recall whether that was presented as a story or as "made-up history". If it's the former, it's probably a valid source, and we'd need to see whether the identification of the various Cyber-leaders as the same individual (or the memories of the same individual downloaded to some central consciousness or some other such rigamarole) is recorded therein. We should also check Iceberg to see if the notion shows up there. —Josiah Rowe 04:31, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
Ooh, we may also need to check The ArcHive Tapes (audio anthology), which may or may not be the same as the History of the Cybermen CD. I can check the latter some time over the next few days, but I don't own the former to see whether it's the same content. —Josiah Rowe 04:35, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
If it was a segment from Cybermen, then I'd gather it counts as "work of non-fiction made-up history". But maybe that's just me. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:38, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
That said, I'm sure it's fine to reference the link in the behind the scenes section. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:39, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
Also, my question applies to Pete's World Cyber-Leaders as well, which is far less ambiguous about the rank being passed on. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:54, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
