Message in the Cards was a free short story published by Thebes Publishing for Christmas 2017.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

Erimem and Andy Hansen talk while preparing for Christmas. Erimem says that she's been writing personalised cards to several of her friends: Tom Niven, Adam Docherty, and Helena and Ibrahim Hadmani. Andy tells Erimem that the messages within each of the cards aren't exactly appropriate for Christmas and convinces Erimem to rewrite them.

Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

A Christmas card from Erimem.
  • Included with the story is an apparent illustration of Erimem's card to Adam Docherty, although it is not said within the text of the story that Erimem has cards with pictures of herself on them.
