Scootori Manista was a 20-year-old trainee maintenance Officer posted on Sanctuary Base 6.
Scootori Manista, also called Scooti, was a trainee maintenance officer who was part of the Walker Expedition posted on Sanctuary Base 6 in 4221.
Born circa 4201, Scooti joined the Walker Expedition. She survived the landing on Krop Tor, and was present for Sanctuary Base 6 being established.
Scooti was in the control room when the Doctor and Rose first arrived. She was the one who announced the incoming quake. When the guards and travelers reached the control room, Scooti was checking the main console in the room to prep everything for the earthquake when the Doctor and Rose came in with the security team. She was dumbfounded just like the rest of the crew. Whe she was introduced Scooti shot the traveler's a warm smile.
When it turned to nightshift, Scooti went outside the base in a spacesuit to fix something and came back grinning.
Scooti was in the control room, preparing for the quake, when the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler arrived in 4221. Afterwards, she was at the meeting to update the pair on the situation of their mission, and, along with Danny, explained who the Ood were to Rose.
Scooti later entered Toby Zed's room with a blue file in her hand. She said that she came to give him his expenditure. However, she soon discover that he wasn't there. So she walked across his room to his desk and then decided to leave the file on his desk and put her head down. Then suddenly the computer announced the opening of door 41 and her head rose. The light was shining right into Scooti's face. She stood there stunned for a few seconds before turning. As Scooti turned, the computer announced the closing of door 41. Scooti stood perturbed for a few seconds. She muttered "41..." to herself. Then she realized what had happened and frantically ran out the door..
Later, Scooti went into Toby Zed's room to drop off his expenditure, but he wasn't there. While she was placing the paperwork on his desk, she heard the airlock open. She queried the computer who could have opened the airlock when no spacesuits were taken. Scooti saw the Beast-possessed Toby outside the window in the vacuum calling for her. Helpless, Scooti raised her hand towards him. However, she eventually resisted him, and pleaded with him to stop. Angered by her refusal, the Beast clenched Toby’s fist, and the glass began to break. Upon realising this, Scooti gasped and tried to escape through the door. However, the door remained sealed despite her pleas, and soon after, Toby shattered the glass, and the pressure broke. Air began rushing out of the base and Scooti was torn away from the door by the rushing air and was sucked into space screaming. Her dead body was later discovered by the Tenth Doctor and the rest of the crew floating within the vacuum above the base and it eventually drifted into and was destroyed by the blackhole. Scooti then ran out of Door 40 and immediately went over to a panel by door 41 and activated the computer. She quickly asked the computer if it opened and closed door 41. To which it confirmed her worries. Confused, Scooti said that since it was the nightshift, nobody was allowed out. Then she asked if someone had gone out. When the computer responded in the affirmative. Impatiently , she asked had gone out. It said that it didn't know. Scooti then thoughtfully asked whose spacesuit had been logged out. The computer replied that no spacesuit had been logged out. Scooti, now irritated, then activated her radio watch, intending to report that the door was malfunctioning. However her radio crackled up and died. Scooti asked the computer what was wrong with the radio, to which the computer calmly told her nothing was wrong with it. Scooti, now very angry, yelled at the door to tell her who went outside. However, it responded with "He is Awake". Then Scooti, shocked, asked what it said. It then repeated itself. Scooti, now very disturbed, asked what that meant. And it said "He bathes in the black sun". The frightened young woman backed away and stared at the door.

Down the hall near Door 42 a shutter opened to the outside. An extremely curious Scooti walked over to it. By the time she got fully there the shutter was almost open revealing the surface. Scooti discovered a possessed Toby without a spacesuit standing unharmed on the exposed surface of Krop Tor. Her eyes widen in shock at this new development. Toby then turned and looked in her direction and smiled evilly when he saw her. Scooti then said his name. She muttered in shock that there wasn't any air and was confused as to how he was surviving out there. Toby only nodded and still smiling beckoned for her. Suddenly, as if hypnotised, Scooti raised her arm towards him. Toby kept on beckoning her. Her eyes began to water as if about to try. Her eyes then glanced her arm and she stuck it to her side. She yelled at Toby to stop. She was obviously very disturbed by what had happened. Her eyes were stilled watery and she had a scared and desperate look on her face. However, Toby's smile was replaced by an angry glare. He raised his arm and clenched his fist. Instantly sounds like glass breaking filled the section. The young Scooti looked desperately for the source. Then a large, menacing crack appeared on the wind. Scooti then gasped in fear. She realized Toby was going to pull her out into space. The frightened young woman sprinted towards Door 40. She ordered it to open.

Unfortunately for Scooti, Toby, using his powers given by the Beast, had psionically locked the doors. Scooti continued trying to open the door. She screamed and yelled desperately. However, she was coldly denied entrance. She began crying, but still tried to open the door. The cracks only continued to grow, which scared the young woman out of her mind. She soon lost all control, and her young face twisted up with fear. She became hysterical and continued screaming at the door. She began to order the door to open, however Toby cut her off. He unclenched his hand and the glass shattered under the pressure. Scooti's needed air began rushing out the base. Scooti was harshly pulled away from the door by the rushing wind, despite her attempts to hold on. She reached out to try to grip it again, but failed. Then the young trainee maintenance officer was then sucked backwards out into the dark vacuum of space. All the time she continued screaming and crying. Eventually she suffocated to death.
