-As called by The Doctor, "Jimbo" is a short robot which is seen to be old and rusty. It is worked out later in the episode that the roll of "Jimbo" was to very slowly walk down the ship to the self destruction program to activate it without the hostile beings noticing what it was doing.
-The robot isn't given a name of a type of any nature apart from the name The Doctor gave it.
