==Alternate timeline==
regarding the alternative timeline section, in the show it just says that the US was incapacitated by the drug, presumably because of America's reputation for obesity.  However, that doesn't mean the company was headquartered in America.  Without the doctor's intervention, the 1 million from the original timeline presumably expanded past just the UK and with the 'miracle cure' property, it would have quickly spread to America,  Since America is considered hugely obese, it was most damaged from the effect (to the extent that it hampered their ability to offer support to the UK after the titanic disaster) but it was not necessarily the headquarters for the company.  It seems much more likely that they headquartered in the same place (since nothing in the alternative timeline logically would have changed that) and expanded the business internationally to create more children.

There was a rather loud thump. But yes because we didn't see the death explicitly on screen there is the possibility that she'd not dead, but there is a greater likelihood that she is dead than alive. --Tangerineduel 16:08, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
this kind of argument can be made for almost every death ever in the series (the master, anyone?). I've changed "She was killed" to "She was presumably killed" and now hope that this somewhat silly discussion can be put to rest ;-) -- Capricorn 16:59, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
That's what I was getting to. Just leave it as she was killed, it can be changed at a later date if she miraculously turns up as the "Hand of the Rani" or something ridiculous like that. --Tangerineduel 17:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Alternate timeline[[edit source]]

regarding the alternative timeline section, in the show it just says that the US was incapacitated by the drug, presumably because of America's reputation for obesity.
