Bill Sellars (born William Sellers in Tideswell, Derbyshire[1] on 5 June 1925, died 19 December 2018[2]) directed the Doctor Who television story The Celestial Toymaker.
He shared his memories of The Celestial Toymaker on the 119th edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round. It was during this interview that he stated he attended only one Doctor Who convention, but did not enjoy the experience, so he never did it again.

He is best known for creating the soap opera Triangle and producing All Creatures Great and Small.
Personal life[[edit] | [edit source]]
He was married to June Bland (Earthshock and Battlefield) from 1950 until 1974, when they divorced. They would, however, remarry in 2012.[3]
