The Phantom of the Opera was one of the members of the Sisyphean Society's senior circle in the Land of Fiction. The Master killed him along with the other members of the Society. (COMIC: Character Assassin) Auteur had a copy of The Phantom of the Opera on her bookshelf in her office in the Town, among several other "classics" including Les Misérables, Dracula and Head of State. - The Phantom of the Opera is the title character in Gaston Leroux's novel of the same name.
- An audio adaptation of the novel was released by Big Finish Productions in March 2008, written and directed by Barnaby Edwards and featuring Anna Massey, Peter Guinness, Alexander Siddig, James D'Arcy, Helen Goldwyn, Tony Millan, Richard Earl, Nick Brimble, Nick Wilton, Geraldine Newman, Samantha Hughes and Nicola Weeks.
