Anathema is the home of the Remote, located on the side of a planet-sized warship which spent centuries travelling through space towards Earth. The original inhabitants of Anathema included Fitz Kreiner and Laura Tobin. (EDA: Interference: Book One)

The central foci of Anathema was the transmitter which held the media a medium through which all occupants of Anathema received the signals. (EDA: Interference: Book Two)

The space craft was originally a Time Lord craft which was sent through space rather than time as a method of fighting The Enemy in the the Time Lord's future war. At the space ship's centre was The Cold. (EDA: Interference: Book Two)

By the time that Anathema arrived in local Earth space Laura Tobin and (a perfect remembered clone) of Fitz Kreiner had been re-remembered (through the use of Remembrance Tanks they had (relatively) new identities of Compassion and Kode. (EDA: Interference: Book One)
