Barry Ashton (1935[1]-May 1978[2]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories.

After doing a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1962 (INFO: The Time Monster), Ashton made his television debut in a 1965 episode of Out of the Unknown, after which he appeared on Doomwatch, The Befrienders, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes and Barlow at Large. His last known acting credit was in a 1973 episode of Thriller.
