Alex Marlowe was a former rock star turned geneticist who tried to genetically engineer a new strain of Krynoid. He wanted to save the planet by any means necessary. He later took Lucie Miller prisoner and wanted to use her for her experiments. He tried to strike a bargain with the Krynoid, but fell under their influence.
