Gavin Collinson wrote the Doctor Who novella Snowfall with Mark B. Oliver, which was published online in December 2010 as part of the Adventure Calendar, and Doctor Who and the Horror of Coal Hill for the 2017 Adventure Calendar.

He later wrote the dialogue sequences for the Maze Theory video games The Edge of Time and The Lonely Assassins.
