Castellan Fordfarding was the greatest holder of the title of Castellan. He lived around the time of Rassilon. According to the Doctor, Fordfarding was so highly considered due to his "obduracy and complete lack of imagination."
An ancient portrait of Fordfarding hung in Castellan Voran's office, hiding his private display screen of the universe. The portrait portrayed Fordfarding with "a high forehead, an aquiline nose and thin white hair." (PROSE: The Infinity Doctors)
Pekkary was a member of the House of Fordfarding. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Fordfarding, like many cameos or characters (or villains) in Lance Parkin's novels, is described as looking like British actor Ian Richardson. Other examples include Edward Greyhaven (PROSE: The Dying Days) and Baskerville. (PROSE: Trading Futures) Lance Parkin's "49th Doctor," appearing in PROSE: Beige Planet Mars and in the unofficial Eulogy of the Daleks, is also described as looking like Ian Richardson.
