The seventh series in The Fourth Doctor Adventures audio range was released by Big Finish Productions in 2018. It featured Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Louise Jameson as Leela and John Leeson as K9 Mark I. The series opened with The Sons of Kaldor and concluded with The Age of Sutekh.

In contrast to the previous series, the stories weren't released monthly. The first four stories were released on 18 January 2018 and were available as an individual download, or could be purchased together in The Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 7: Volume 1. The last four were released in the same manner on 16 May 2018, and were collected in The Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 7: Volume 2
